Cotswold Gold Bearnaise Sauce made from free range eggs is rich & creamy. It is an indulgent accompaniment to meat or vegetables & is particularly delicious with steak. Made from extra virgin cold pressed rapeseed oil means that it is also healthier than other sauces on the market.

“The appearance is rich and creamy with good even flecks of tarragon, and an aroma level of natural acidity from the lemon and Dijon mustard, along with the egg. The tarragon is immediate and delivers excellent fresh flavour notes and there is a good balance of sweetness and acidity. The flavour balance and choice of ingredients have shone through here”.
“Great texture, thick and creamy, with the tarragon and Dijon mustard and a touch of vinegar and sulphur. The mouth-feel is heavenly, melting on the tongue. The oil comes through deliciously, with the buttery richness holding up the tarragon and then the citrus ending a lovely journey. We imagined it on all sorts of meats and frankly, just on spoons from the jar. Our only reservation, preventing a higher award, would be that we wanted a little more of that primary tarragon”.
